Jeremy Gabriel
(Zach Ebersohn)

Jeremy was raised in Bethesda, MD, and went to college at Towson University, outside of Baltimore. He has been in over 20 productions here in LA and until just recently was a member of and the Literary Manager for Son of Semele Ensemble. He extends Eternal thanks to his parents and all of his love to Erika.

Arthur Roberts
(Max Ebersohn)

Having been widely seen on television lately, Arthur Roberts is “saving the world from autoclaustrophobia” in Nissan Versa’s car commercial. LA theatergoers saw him as Prospero in The Tempest at Theater 40, starring in Traveler in the Dark at The Mark Taper Forum and in A Rich Full Life at LATC. In New York he played Hank in the original cast of The Boys in the Band, starred on Broadway in the Tony-winning Borstal Boy, and won wide critical acclaim as Karenin in Anna Karenina. He received his Equity card playing in Othello for the New York Shakespeare Festival. Roberts learned his craft with the Harvard Summer Players with Faye Dunaway and Jane Alexander, then appeared in summer stock all over the East Coast, playing the title roles in Mr. Roberts and Poor Richard where he won the Barter Theatre award at the Barter Theatre in Virginia. He also appeared in Winter Rep in Buffalo and Princeton, New Jersey. On television, he was a series regular on Air America opposite Lorenzo Lamas and on General Hospital. Playing the title role in Not of This Earth opposite Tracy Lords and starring in Revenge of the Ninja, Roberts earned entry into the Motion Picture Academy in 1988. He has taught acting at UCLA, Santa Monica College, and Sherwood Oaks Experimental College. A Cum Laude graduate of Harvard, where he discovered he did not want to be a doctor, he holds an MBA from NYU. He enjoys reading, swimming, weights, doing portrait and travel photography, and has a grand passion for playing beach volleyball.

Sarah Lappin
(Shayna Kershner)

Sarah has embraced the arts her entire life and undeniably pursues roles that challenge her artistic talents.  In 2005, after receiving rave reviews in such publications as LA Weekly and Backstage West for her dynamic performance in the play, Yiddish She-Devils (Santa Monica Playhouse), her acting career has continued to blossom.  She has graced the Promenade Playhouse stage starring in the comedy Thing or Thingy?, as well as Waiting for Lefty, in which she delivered a chilling performance as Edna.  Sarah also enjoyed playing the role of Queen Vashti in the colorful musical, The Esther Chronicles, where she showcased her vocal and dancing abilities.  Regarding television, Sarah has had featured roles in shows for MTV, Bravo, and ESPN networks and has appeared in various commercials including Pacific BMW and Audio Video Center to name a few. She has had comedic roles in the feature films, Naked Run and Touch Wood, which will both be released Spring 2007 and is currently working on the dramatic feature Rite of Passage.  Sarah would like to thank her writer/director David Rouda for his commitment to the craft and her peers for their creative spirit.

Susan Spano
(Diane Altman)

Susan is thrilled to be working in Pomp & Circumstance. Susan moved to L.A. from NYC to get her share of the sun and is enjoying every minute of it. Since arriving, Susan has worked in many films and commercials and just finished a run of Love & Sex over Dinner & Drinks at The Hayworth. For all the comic book fans out there be on the look out for the animated feature film, Dr. Strange in which Susan plays Gina Atwater, to be released in 2007 by Lions Gate and Marvel Comics. Susan sends her love to all the new friends she's made in L.A.

Bill Applebaum

Bill’s career began in Chicago with The Second City Theater as a co-founding member of the groundbreaking Second City ETC Theatre and as a member of the Main Stage Company.    Stage credits; Chicago: Victory Gardens Theatre, Wisdom Bridge Theatre.  L.A. Stage; The Falcon Theatre, Westwood Playhouse, The Mark Taper Too.  T.V. credits include: Seinfeld, Crossing Jordan, Judging Amy, Larry Sanders.  Film credits include: Nothing in Common, Beaches, Pretty Woman, A Very Brady Sequel.

Dee Kevin Ace Gibson (Morris Legrand)

In the spring of 1998, while attending Florida International University for business, Gibson found his calling in acting while performing in a short film in the school film club. He received his Associates Degree in Theatre and Dance at Nassau Community College in the summer of 2000. In 2004 Gibson spent his time as hip hop dance teacher, the latter part of that year Gibson started his walk with God as a Christian. Being a Christian has only strengthened him in his craft. Gibson made his feature film debut in Room 33. His second feature was President's Hotel.

Caroline Langford
(Dr. Bluf)

Caroline was born in England. When she was a teenager, her family immigrated to Israel in the late 70’s. She entertained the troops throughout her army service. She then co-hosted a TV show with Mike Burstyn. An instant hit in Israel, Caroline soon landed the starring role in the highly successful film Smile, You’ve Been Had. Her success continued with several films, including The Delta Force, Snow White and The Big Gag, and eventually she received the Israeli Oscar for Best Actress. Caroline recently moved to the USA. Her American credits include the Narrator in the Rocky Horror Show, Kath in Entertaining Mr. Sloane and Martha in Who’s Afraid Of Virginia Woolf?

Elizabeth Southard
(Dr. Bluf)

Elizabeth recently performed in Circus Theatrical's Great Scenes from American Playwrights, and Circus Theatrical's Questionable Acts showcase last June. Prior to this, she worked in Chicago, Orlando and Sydney. Some of her past theatre credits include Mrs. Somers in Paddywack, Paulina in Death & The Maiden and Mary in Run For Your Wife. In addition, she performed in many indie and industrial films. Elizabeth can be seen next in the Circus Theatrical's musical production of Weedwacker. http://www.circustheatricals.com/

Fred Tucker

Veteran actor Frederick Tucker won Dramalogue’s best actor award for his role of Bynum, in August Wilson's Joe Turner’s Come and Gone, at the Long Beach Playhouse. He also played Joe Jackson, Michaels father, in the VH-1 movie The Man in the Mirror. Co-starring or featured in television and movie roles over the years, he was the acting and dialogue consultant for several seasons at Paramount's UPN network, where he coached, consulted and acted with numerous and diverse talents. Tucker is a member of the Aaron Speiser Acting Studio with over twenty years as master student and instructor. Frederick resides in the Southern California beach community of Playa del Rey with his beautiful wife and two lovely teenage children. SAG, AFTRA, AEA

Walter Williamson
(Judge Vakasian)

As an actor Walter Williamson has appeared in several hundred roles from Shakespeare to Neil Simon in stock, repertory and Off Broadway.  He garnered high praise from The New York Times for several roles at CSC Repertory including God in Faust and Farmer Gamon in Wild Oats.  Locally he has appeared at The Odyssey and A Noise Within where he won a Dramalogue Award for his work in So It Is.  He has also displayed his craft in his one man show, The Meditations Of Four Fathers. On the large screen he is best known for several appearances with Adam Sandler including the Opera Singer in Mr. Deeds and Dandridge in The Longest Yard. As a writer Williamson has published five non-fiction books and various screenplays and plays including the upcoming True Love to be seen in the fall.

Brian Knudson
(Roland Yates)

An L.A. native, Brian is happy to return to The Matrix after performing here in one of his favorite plays, Equus, back in 1990. He recently produced/acted in the dark comedy Bright Ideas at The Avery Schreiber Theatre, receiving Critic's Choice in Backstage West. He also produced/acted in the Pulitzer Prize-winning Dinner With Friends, garnering an ADA Nomination for Best Revival of a Dramatic Play. Other recent credits: 1776, the British thriller Dangerous Obsession, What the Butler Saw, Beau Jest, the spoof Fortinbras (Hamlet), and The Passion Play (Jesus). Brian has been spokesperson for Soundtrack Channel and El Monte RV and he's emceed for Grand Prix Ballroom Dancesport. He has worked alongside Marin Hinkle and Ed Asner for Celebrity Stage Readings and enjoys doing voiceover narration for industrials. www.brianknudson.com

Frederick B. Owens (understudy for the part of Saul Robertson)

Frederick was an original cast member for five years in the hit Broadway musical, Smokey Joe's Cafe.  Other Broadway credits include, Man of La Mancha, as the Governor/Inkeeper and Jesus Christ Superstar as Caiaphas. Other theater credits include: Dreamgirls, Little Shop of Horrors, Ain't Supposed To Die a Natural Death, and Donny's House.  Film credits include: Hitch (Larry), Storytelling (Coach), and Jesus Christ Superstar.  Television credits include: Guiding Light, One Life to Live, Law and Order SVU, Ed, The Education of Max Bickford, Late Line, and New York Undercover.  Dentyne, Western Union, McDonalds, Sprint, AT&T, Seagrams, and Pizza Hut, Hershey's Kiss, and Song Airlines, are just a few of his voice-over credits.  Frederick also does the voice of Leather Head in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Richard V. Licata

TV: Rich appears regularly as Judge Dale Melman on Boston Legal. Also, West Wing, Malcolm in the Middle, That '70s Show, Threshold, Law and Order, SVU and CI, The Division, 100 Centre Street, Queens Supreme, Guiding Light, Good Sam (pilot - series regular). FILM: The Island, Just Looking, Two Family House, Tale of Two Pizzas, Johnny Virus, Spy, A Killing, The Shift, The Man Under the Tree, Expendable, Twins. Rich recently appeared on stage in LA in the leading role of Hermann Goering in the world premiere of All Steps Necessary. Lindsay Cevrich

Being four years new to Los Angeles, Lindsay has spent most of her time focusing on independent film and small movie roles, which includes a part in the HBO film Iron Jawed Angeles.  She has had the pleasure of studying with several wonderful teachers out here on the west coast, which has benefited her as both an actress and a singer. She graduated from Virginia Tech with a great love and appreciation for the stage and she's thrilled that Pomp & Circumstance is her first theatre production here in LA!

Sarah Pachelli

Sarah Pachelli grew up in Florida.  She attended the University of Florida and received her BA in English and Women's Studies.  Along with the rigor of college, she was very involved with the theatre community.  Past plays include Glengarry Glen Ross, As You Like It, and Fahrenheit 451, to name a few.  Most recently, Sarah can be seen on HBO’s Deadwood as Janine. 

Krista Ryan

With work in film, theatre and commercials, a few of Krista Ryan’s roles have been in Hussy, Driving, Strung, The Girl at Starbucks, Maha Yoga, The Voodoo Queen, Black Night, A Lot about Nothing, Sleeping Beauty, and Murder at Dinner.

Ryan Driscoll

Ryan is a recent transplant to Los Angeles from Chicago, where she graduated Columbia College Chicago with a BA in theatre.  She is very excited to be a part of Pomp & Circumstance, which is her first LA production.  Favorite Chicago credits include Rogue Theatre's The Oresteia (Iphigenia), CCC's Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead (Player), and New Leaf Theatre's world premiere adaptation of the novel, Girl in Hyacinth Blue (Magdelena). Recent film credits include Shady Milkman Productions' The Strip (d/ Jameel Khan), TaLiLi Films' Plainview (d/ Scott T Jones), and Split Pillow Productions' Drama (d/ Maria Gigante, Scott Jones, Nick Martin, and Ben Poster).  Ryan would like to thank her family for their constant love and support and TS for taking a chance.

Dorothy Gallagher (Barb Wartin, Assoc. Producer, Production Co-Casting)

Dorothy originated the role of Barb in San Francisco. Dorothy's theatre career spans over 20 years in regional and national markets such as Boston, New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco. Dorothy has worked at Trinity Rep, The Huntington, Merrimac Rep, and The Lyric Stage while in Boston. In LA Dorothy has performed at Long Beach Studio Theatre for four seasons and CalRep with Joanne Gordon. Dorothy has starred in Baywatch, Spenser: For Hire, Against the Law, Complex World, Primary Motive, The Glass Necktie and the Osiris Chronicles. Dorothy is a national voice/over talent and is signed with Innovative Artists in LA and Stars in San Francisco. Dorothy's theatre career has allowed her to work such stars as Matt Damon, Hank Azaria and Mike Chicklis while she was in Boston. Dorothy also co-cast these two plays with David Rouda and is associate producer for this production.

Robin Schild

Robin started acting at Berkeley High School in the 70s. He went on to UC Berkeley and has been acting around the Bay Area ever since. He has been involved with several Shakespeare festivals and other theater in the area. His favorite and most prolific role is Jaques in As You Like It but has also enjoyed playing roles as diverse as Fagin in Oliver, Bernie in Sexual Perversity in Chicago, and The Actor in Gorky's The Lower Depths. He also does voice work and as of late has been an avid member of a San Francisco playwright’s workshop.


Kelvin Clayton
(Saul Robertson)

Born in Southern California and raised in Dallas, Texas, Kelvin began singing and acting at the tender age of four. Some twenty years later, Kelvin still manages to leave his audiences in awe.
  
With his smooth, rich tone and audacious enthusiasm for music and acting, Kelvin is poised and ready to take the industry by storm. Having spent an amount of time working in musical theatre on projects like Caught in the Middle, Somebody Say Amen, and the African-American opera, The Great Controversy, Kelvin chose to go into the studio and put his songwriting ability and production skills to work on his first solo project.
  
Having spent time modeling and searching for the perfect career opportunity, Kelvin made the decision to answer the call of his heart and focus on his musical and acting career.

Ron Becks
(Judge Mentel)

Ron began his career in New York and the La Mama Theater with a young Diane Lane. Later he toured in Australia with Lauren Bacall in Sweet Bird of Youth.
  
While in Australia he was the opening singing act for the famed “Stylistics" R&B singing group. He also starred the feature films, Captain Invincible (With Christopher Lee and Alan Arkin), Shark's Paradise, Come & Get It, Sher Mountain Killings Mystery (with heavyweight Champ Joe Bugner) and appeared in over 25 plays including the premiere Sydney and Melbourne Theater Companies.
  
Back home now Ron was honored with a nomination to be in the National Academy of Minorities in Broadcast “Hall of Fame” as Host, Producer, Director and Writer of his TV show Romantically Yours. He has re-written and directed for the Beverly Hills stage the movie, Rear Window in which starred the soap star Hunter Tylo. He is the Producer, Director, Writer, narrator and winner of the “Silver Bear" award at the Houston International Film Festival, for his documentary film Haitian Slave Children - Forgotten Angels

Ron is currently writing, & producing an epic western and is seeking acting/literary representation in Los Angeles.

Roberto Bacalski

Roberto is proud to be making his Matrix Theatre Debut in Pomp & Circumstance.  He has been seen elsewhere at The Odyssey Theatre, Knightsbridge Theatre, The Blue Sphere Alliance and Theatre Neo where he sits on the board of directors.  Film: Cyxork 7, My Tiny Universe.

William Knight
(Addison Felcher)

A busy professional working actor in all mediums, Knight has been 'on stage' since the age of five when he was, "Little Billy Knight” child evangelist with Aimee Semple MacPherson. He made the transition to theatre at LACC. He was brought to NYC for the Broadway debut of the notorious, Oh! Calcutta!, which ran for years. He remained in NYC for 15 years working on and off B'way. While he was a lowly enlisted man in the USAF he has played the three most famous Generals of the 20th century: MacArthur, off B'way in, The Bonus Army, Eisenhower, on B'way in, An Evening With Richard Nixon, [in which Susan Sarandon made her B'way debut], and Patton in a video for Lockheed. His most profoundly moving work was the title role in Brian Friel's, Faith Healer off B'way. His favorite musical was, 1776. His classical roles vary from Iago in, Othello, to the Sheriff in, Much Ado About Nothing. His first TV role was in the original Star Trek. His many films include, Stargate, NautilusI Got The Hookup, The Garbage Man, Frog-g-g, Exorcism, etc., as well as numerous TV and radio commercials. His voice work is extensive. He announced the CBS Ch 2 News for several years. He is the voice of Aramaic, the chief of cyber police in, Ghost In The Shell -the feature, TV series on Cartoon Network, and 3 Sony Play station games.

Ilia Volokh
( Roland Yates)

Ilia Volokh’s lengthy list of film credits include: Monkeybone (Rasputin), U Turn (Sergi), Air Force One (Vladimir Krasin), Executive Decision (Chechen), and Swordfish (crewman). In television, Volokh has appeared in such series as; CSI: NYKing of Queens, Firefly, The Unit, Commander in Chief, Alias, Monk, Six Feet Under, JAG, Profiler, and NYPD Blue.
